ADYKO Recipe Cards

Shoppable recipes on Shopify

Updated August 14, 2026

A shoppable recipe links each ingredient to a Shopify product so a reader can add that SKU to cart without leaving the blog post. For food brands this is the difference between content that inspires and content that sells.

How the flow works

  1. You publish a recipe that uses products you already sell.
  2. You map ingredients such as “harissa paste” to the matching product or variant.
  3. The live card shows those ingredients as links or add-to-cart controls.
  4. The shopper adds one ingredient or the set, then checks out as usual.

ADYKO Recipe Cards includes an add-to-cart setting on the recipe card. Pair it with Recipe schema so the same page can rank in Google and convert the visit.

What to link (and what not to)

Link the SKUs you actually want to sell: the sauce, spice blend, coffee, protein, or mix that makes the recipe yours. Do not force a product onto salt, water, or a commodity the shopper already has. Forced links look like ads and get ignored.

Why food brands bother

Recipe queries are huge. Most of that traffic is people deciding what to cook, not people browsing a collection page. If the ingredient list is plain text, they leave and buy elsewhere. If the hero ingredient is one click from cart, the blog becomes a product discovery channel.

Recipe Kit popularized this pattern on Shopify and charges for add-to-cart on higher plans. ADYKO includes shoppable ingredients in the recipe card toolkit so newer food brands can test the same motion without a $29 starting point.
